Truth Above Turbulence

We’re helping business aviation’s positive story soar

The images were unforgettable. The head honchos of Detroit’s Big Three automakers, in front of Congress earlier this year asking for billions of dollars in public bailout funds to help keep their seriously ailing companies on life support. One problem: Each of the Big Three executives sitting in front of Congress that day had arrived in our nation’s capitol via their companies’ private jets. How could they justify, several of their congressional inquisitors asked them that day, asking for billions of dollars in taxpayer money when they could afford huge, lavish private jets?

The fallout that followed is still impacting the business aviation industry in a seriously negative way. Since that fateful day, every ailing company with a business jet has been vilified by both the public and the press—with business jets somehow coming to symbolize everything wrong with corporate America and its out-of-control greed, avarice and wasteful speeding.

Well, as business jet owners ourselves, we just don’t see it that way. Our business jet is no extravagance, no luxury, no expensive shiny toy. It is an absolute necessity for us to be as effective for and responsive to our clients as we can be. We value our business jet, and we know we’re not the only ones—so we decided to do something about it.

Well, we did two things, actually. First, we created two ads to help people understand just what our business jet means to us as an agency. Then, we created an online home, truthaboveturbulence.com, for those ads to live. And, because we knew we aren’t alone when it comes to companies truly valuing their business jets, we asked them for their stories. Many have shared how their business jets positively impact their ability to succeed, and many more are on their way.

We saw a need for the other side of business jets—the positive side—to have a voice. And that’s where truthaboveturbulence.com comes in. Visit the site today and let us know your thoughts on it.
